What Happens After Editing a Job
For quality and safety purposes, edited job postings must go through moderation review again.
After saving changes:
The job will temporarily become hidden
The updated version enters moderation review
Once approved, the job becomes publicly visible again
Most reviews are completed within:
Around 1 hour
Sometimes a few hours depending on moderation workload
Edit Expired Jobs
Expired job postings can still be edited.
You can:
Update job details
Adjust expiration settings
Reactivate the listing if your membership allows it
Pause or Delete a Job Posting
From the My Jobs section, you can also:
Pause a Job
Temporarily hide a job posting without permanently removing it.
This is useful if:
Hiring is temporarily paused
You already received enough applicants
The position is temporarily on hold
Delete a Job
Permanently remove a job posting from your account.
Deleted jobs cannot be restored.
Notifications After Review
You will receive a notification once your edited job posting has been:
Approved
Rejected
You can also track job status directly from the My Jobs page.
Troubleshooting
Why did my job disappear after editing?
Edited jobs are temporarily hidden while they undergo moderation review again.
This helps maintain listing quality and candidate trust across the platform.
Can I edit a job multiple times?
Yes. There is currently no limit on how many times you can edit a job posting.
Why was my edited job rejected?
Jobs may be rejected if they violate platform guidelines or contain incomplete, misleading, or prohibited content.
Review your job details and try submitting again if needed.
Pro Tip
Before saving edits, review your job posting carefully to minimize repeated moderation reviews.
Clear job descriptions, accurate compensation details, and complete requirements usually lead to better candidate engagement and faster approvals on OnlineJobs.
