How to Post a Job

Posting a job on OnlineJobs allows you to reach qualified candidates and manage applications directly from your employer dashboard.
Creating a job listing only takes a few steps.


Create a New Job Posting

To post a job:

  1. Log in to your employer dashboard.

  2. Open the sidebar menu.

  3. Click Post a Job

  4. Complete the required job information.

  5. Review the preview popup.

  6. Click Confirm Publish.

Your job will then be submitted for moderation review.


Add Basic Job Information

Start by filling in the core job details.

Required Information

You’ll need to provide:

  • Job title

  • Category and Role

  • Job type

  • Job description

Job Type Options

You can choose:

  • Full-time

  • Part-time

  • One-time or specific-time jobs

We recommend writing a clear and detailed job description to attract more qualified applicants.


Configure Compensation Details

OnlineJobs supports multiple compensation structures.

Compensation Types

You can choose:

  • Salary only

  • Commission only

  • Hybrid (salary + commission)

For compensation types that include commission, you can also specify if its:

  • NET comission or

  • GROSS comission


Compensation Amount Types

You may set:

  • Flat amount

  • Range


Pay Period Options

Supported pay periods include:

  • Hourly

  • Daily

  • Weekly

  • Monthly


Payout Frequency

Select how employees are paid:

  • Daily

  • Weekly

  • Biweekly

  • Monthly


Payout Methods

Employers can choose from multiple payout methods depending on how they pay workers or contractors.


Add Skills and Experience Requirements

Based on the selected role category, OnlineJobs may provide predefined skill fields such as:

  • Languages

  • CRMs

  • Platforms

  • Software tools

  • Technical skills

This helps candidates better match your job requirements.


Set the Job Location

By default, jobs are set as remote.

If the role is in-person, you can specify:

  • Country, City


Create Custom Application Fields

You can create additional custom fields for applicants.

Examples include:

  • Text fields

  • Number fields

  • Additional screening questions

This allows you to collect extra information from candidates during the application process.


Configure Job Expiration

By default:

  • Jobs remain active while your subscription is active

  • Free plan jobs may remain active indefinitely

You can also manually set a custom expiration date for the job posting.


Review and Publish Your Job

Before publishing, we will display a summary preview popup.

Review your job details carefully, then click:

  • Confirm Publish

Your job posting will then enter manual moderation review.


Job Review Process

All job postings are manually reviewed by our moderation team before going live.

Typical review times:

  • Often within 1 hour

  • Sometimes a few hours depending on the time of day

This process helps maintain platform quality and candidate trust.


Editing Existing Job Posts

You can edit your jobs anytime from the My Jobs section.

Please note:

  • Edited jobs will undergo moderation review again before updates become visible publicly.


Membership and Job Posting Limits

Job posting availability depends on your membership plan.

Even the free employer plan includes:

  • 1 active job posting

Additional plans may include higher posting limits and extra features.


Troubleshooting

My job is not live yet

Your job may still be under moderation review.

Most reviews are completed within a few hours.

Why was my edited job sent for review again?

For quality and safety purposes, edited job postings are reviewed again before updates are published.

Can I save a draft before publishing?

Draft saving is not currently available.

We recommend preparing your job description beforehand if needed.
