Creating a Candidate Account

Creating a candidate account on OnlineJobs lets you build your professional profile, search for jobs, apply to opportunities, and complete available assessment tests.

Candidate accounts are free, and all candidates have access to the same platform features.

Before You Create an Account

To register as a candidate, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Live in Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, or Slovenia

  • Use a valid email address and phone number

Your email address and phone number are used to help keep the platform safe. Your date of birth and phone number are not shown publicly.

Create Your Account

You can create a candidate account using:

  • An email address and password

  • Your Google account

To get started:

  1. Open the OnlineJobs registration page.

  2. Choose Candidate as your account type.

  3. Enter your email address and create a password, or select Continue with Google.

  4. Complete the candidate onboarding steps.

  5. Verify your email address and phone number.

Complete Candidate Onboarding

After registering, you will be guided through a short onboarding process.

Step 1: Tell Us About Yourself

Provide:

  • Gender

  • Date of birth

  • Profile picture

  • Phone number

Your date of birth is not public. Employers may only see your age, such as 21 years old.

Your phone number is also kept private and is used for verification.

Step 2: Add Your Location

Choose your current location so OnlineJobs can show you relevant opportunities.

Step 3: Add Your Professional Information

Select and add:

  • Category

  • Role

  • Skills

  • Work history, if applicable

  • Education, if applicable

Adding complete and accurate information helps employers understand your experience and can improve your job recommendations.

Step 4: Upload Your CV

You can upload your CV during onboarding, but this step is optional.

You can also add or update your CV later from your candidate profile.

Step 5: Verify Your Phone Number

Phone verification is required to complete your candidate account setup.

Follow the instructions shown on screen to verify the phone number you entered.

Verify Your Email Address

Email verification is also required.

Check your inbox after registration and follow the verification link in the email from OnlineJobs.

If you do not see the email, check your spam, junk, or promotions folder.

What Happens After Registration?

Once your email and phone number are verified, you can immediately:

  • Search for jobs

  • Apply to job postings

  • Complete assessment tests

  • Build and update your candidate profile

  • Receive relevant job recommendations

Troubleshooting

I selected the wrong account type

If you accidentally created the wrong type of account, contact support through Intercom live chat for help.

I did not receive my verification email

Check your spam, junk, promotions, and social folders first. If it is still missing, request a new verification email or contact support.

Can employers see my phone number or date of birth?

No. Your phone number and full date of birth are not publicly shared. Employers may only see your age.

Can I upload my CV later?

Yes. CV upload is optional during onboarding, and you can add or update it later.

Pro Tip

Complete as much of your profile as possible during onboarding. A clear profile picture, accurate skills, relevant work history, and an updated CV can help you stand out to employers and find better-matched jobs.
