Why Can’t I Post More Jobs?

If you’re unable to publish additional job postings, it’s usually related to your current membership plan limits or account status.

OnlineJobs controls the number of active and total job postings based on your employer subscription.

Check Your Membership Limits

Each employer plan includes limits for:

  • Active job postings

  • Total job postings

For example:

  • A plan may allow 5 active jobs

  • And 20 total jobs

This means:

  • Only 5 jobs can be publicly active at the same time

  • The remaining jobs may stay paused or inactive, acting as an archive

If you reach your limits, you may not be able to publish additional listings until space becomes available.

Active vs Total Job Limits

Active Jobs

These are publicly visible jobs currently accepting applications.

Total Jobs

This includes:

  • Active jobs

  • Paused jobs

  • Existing stored listings

Paused jobs still count toward your total job limit.

Free Plan Limitations

The free employer plan currently includes:

  • 1 total job posting

  • 1 active job posting

Free employers must pause or delete existing listings before publishing additional jobs unless they upgrade their subscription.

Your Subscription May Have Expired

If your paid subscription expired:

  • Your account may have returned to the free plan

  • Premium job limits may no longer apply

  • Additional jobs may become paused automatically

You can check your subscription status from:

  • Membership

  • Billing

inside your employer dashboard.

Jobs Pending Moderation

You may also be temporarily unable to publish additional jobs if:

  • Existing jobs are still under moderation review

  • Your account is under manual review

  • Platform limitations were applied temporarily

Moderation reviews are normal and help maintain platform quality.

How to Free Up Job Slots

You can create space for additional jobs by:

  • Pausing inactive listings

  • Deleting unused jobs

  • Upgrading your membership plan

Paused jobs remain saved in your account and can often be reactivated later.

Upgrade Your Membership

Upgrading your employer subscription may provide:

  • Higher active job limits

  • Higher total job capacity

  • Better visibility

  • Additional employer tools

Premium plans are designed for employers hiring at larger scale.

Troubleshooting

Why can’t I publish even though some jobs are paused?

Paused jobs still count toward your total job limit.

You may need to:

  • Delete unused jobs

  • Upgrade your plan

Why were my jobs paused automatically?

This may happen if:

  • Your subscription expired

  • Your account returned to the free plan

  • Your active jobs exceeded current plan limits

Can support increase my limits manually?

Job posting limits are generally based on your current subscription plan.

For higher limits, upgrading your membership is recommended.
